Peac for Charity

Here at Peac, we'd like to do more than help people sit comfortably. That's why we've set up a scheme we call 'Chairs for Charity'. We've pledged to give generously to the Imperial Bluecube fund, which is used to provide help though education to children in some of the poorest areas of the world – something we feel will enable their community to develop far more than would be possible than simply giving money.

Imperial Bluecube

Imperial Bluecube is a philanthropic trust envisioned and created by one of the founders of peac, in collaboration with Imperial College London and the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851, to provide finance for UK students to travel to underprivileged schools in developing regions, and help with teaching, and development. The fund has received generous donations from the above benefactors allowing 5 students to travel to Balud, on the island of Samar, Philippines in the summer of 2008, where they will run educational courses alongside students from the De La Salle University in Manila. With continued donations, the fund will be able to allow students to travel each year to continue helping to improve, and to raise awareness of conditions in some of the poorer parts of the world.
